1. University Application & IELTS
Month 1-3 (Oct - Jan)
Duration: 12 Weeks
Status: Preparation
- Apply via UCAS (Undergrad) or directly to the University portal (Postgrad).
- Take IELTS Academic: Typically 6.0 for Undergrad and 6.5 for Masters (no band below 5.5/6.0).
- Submit Statement of Purpose (SOP) and Academic References.
- Outcome: Receive a 'Conditional Offer' (pending grades or IELTS) or 'Unconditional Offer'.

- deadlines: UCAS deadline is usually late January. Postgrad deadlines vary but most close by June/July for September intake.

- Wait 28 consecutive days. The balance must NOT drop even by 1 PKR below the required amount during this time.

4. CAS Issuance & Visa Submission

- Receive your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) number from the university.
- Complete the online UK Student Visa application (GOV.UK).
- Pay the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS): £776 per year of study.

5. Biometrics & Credibility Interview

- Book and attend your biometrics appointment at VFS Global (Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, or Mirpur).
- Be prepared for a second 'Credibility Interview' by a Home Office officer via video link if requested.
